St George's Day Parade
St George's Day is celebrated on the 23rd April, and around this time Scouts will hold some form of celebration. Baden-Powell chose St George as the Patron Saint of Scouting as the story of St George show him overcoming adversity. St George's Day is an opportunity to bring Scouting together and celebrate Scouting's national day with a collective Promise renewal. We will celebrate this important scouting event as a part of Manchester South District.
